DMS completed the installation of the Regent Park Energy Centre, a core component of the Regent Park Revitalization Project in Toronto. The facility features a 4.2 MW natural gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) plant alongside central boilers and chillers, comprising three 1.4 MW natural gas-fired generators, three condensing boilers, chillers, and ancillary equipment. The main plant was installed in the basement of a mixed-use high-rise building, with additional modifications to the exhaust breeching and hydronic systems completed at the penthouse and roof levels.
Our scope included all process piping, millwrighting and rigging, and fabrication. Multiple crane lifts were required throughout the project to install equipment, piping, and exhaust breeching at the penthouse and roof levels. Through careful planning and coordinated execution across a complex, occupied high-rise environment, DMS delivered a safe and reliable energy centre supporting the revitalized community.
