SCOPE OF WORK

Project Overview

DMS completed the construction of a 4,000 m³/day industrial wastewater system that treats landfill leachate in Southwestern Ontario. The plant included a 13-metre-long dissolved air flotation tank, a flocculator, various pumps, a scum removal system, chemical treatment systems, an oxidation tank, and a carbon filter odour control system.

Our scope included all process piping, metal fabrication, HVAC and odour control, millwrighting and rigging, and plumbing. Process systems included wastewater, utility water, compressed air, hydrogen peroxide, ferric chloride, sulfuric acid, polymer, scum, and odour control ducting. All chemical systems were installed in double-wall containment piping fabricated from materials compatible with each chemical, ensuring a safe, durable, and reliable system for treating landfill leachate.
