DMS completed the construction of a 28,000 m³/day industrial wastewater system serving a new poultry processing facility in Southwestern Ontario. The system consisted of three vertical turbine pumps, two rotating drum screens, a tank mixer, two 20-metre-long dissolved air flotation tanks, four chemical treatment systems, and a scum removal system.
Our scope included all process piping installation, equipment rigging and installation, metal fabrication and installation, and plumbing installation. Process systems included wastewater, utility water, compressed air, caustic, ferric chloride, sulfuric acid, polymer, and scum. All chemical systems were installed in double-wall containment piping fabricated from materials compatible with each chemical, ensuring a safe, durable, and reliable wastewater system for the facility.
