DMS completed process piping, millwrighting and rigging, steel fabrication, and installation at the Disco Road renewable natural gas (RNG) facility in North York. The facility receives biogas from the onsite waste management facility’s anaerobic digester and upgrades it through a Biomethane Upgrading System before injection into the Enbridge natural gas pipeline. The work required multiple connections to the existing biogas piping system, demanding extensive coordination with all project stakeholders and thorough pre-planning to ensure every task was completed safely and effectively.
Our scope included two TSSA-approved process piping systems: a low-pressure biogas piping system constructed in accordance with CSA B149.6, with 15% non-destructive radiographic testing (NDE RT) and 100% visual examination of welded joints; and a high-pressure process (HPP) piping system constructed in accordance with ASME B31.3, complete with 100% NDE RT and visual examination of welded joints. Through careful coordination and rigorous quality control, DMS delivered a safe, reliable, and code-compliant piping installation.
