DMS completed a biogas system upgrade at an existing compost facility in Southwestern Ontario. The project included the installation of new hydraulic mixing systems for existing digesters, upgrades to existing digester gas piping and digester safety equipment, new pre-engineered pump houses, and HVAC systems. Because the work was performed at an operating facility, coordination with all project stakeholders was critical to maintaining plant operations throughout.
Our scope drew on the full range of DMS capabilities, including process piping, millwrighting and rigging, steel fabrication, HVAC and odour control, and civil and general construction. The project called for aerial and confined space work, specialized lifting equipment, and careful execution within minimal space and under tight time constraints, along with TSSA and digester testing. Through detailed planning and close coordination, DMS delivered a safe, reliable, and code-compliant upgrade to the facility’s biogas system.
